/ On : 9:55 PM/ Thank you for visiting my small blog here. If you wanted to discuss or have the question around this article, please contact me e-mail at Gps_86@gmail.com.
Today it was revealed that iPads and iPhones have been tracking and storing location data and backing it up to iTunes every time you sync. The location data stored on your computer is accessible to malicious apps or anyone else who uses your machine and is unencrypted but should be.

Steps to encrypt iPad location data
  • Plug in your iPhone or iPad into your Mac's USB port and launch iTunes.
  • Select your device under "Devices" in iTunes.
  • Scroll down to the bottom of the summary page and check the box next to "Encrypt iPhone backup."
  • Choose a password that will be used to access your phone's backups
