Sony ericsson X10i charging drains battery or stops

Fault description:

Sony ericsson Xperia X10 has a major charging problem some time we had noticed that mobile just shows charging indication on display but mobile drains battery quickly . In some cases after few minutes of charging it stops , in such cases we have to check hardware section so here we describe how to solve charging problem of Xperia X10 i .   

Fault Solution:

There are four common solutions for this problem so we have to proceed step by step.

1. First we should change the battery because in some cases the battery has an internal problem in its circuitry and due to that we got an error.

2. Then we should try to change the charger becomes sometimes the charger's internal component gets short circuited, then the charger shows false charging and we get a false charging error.

3. Now open the mobile and clean the mobile PCB and charging connector, then check the charging.

4. If the above tricks don't work then check the line continuity from charging point 1 to the transistor below this point show in the yellow mark. If there is no line then apply the jumper from point 1 to this transistor.

5. Check point 2 it should be grounded.

6. Now check charging point 5. It should have the line to the component below it shown in the green mark point 2. If there is no line then apply the jumper.

7. Now apply the jumper from the charging point and 4 to 4 point (ball) charging the IC on the upper side 2 point (ball) as shown in red mark and 4.

8. After all of this is done, if the problem still remains then finally change the 4 point charging IC.

Conclusion:

For the charging problem solution we should follow all of the procedures step by step, because if we use step 4 and 5 first then there is a chance it could damage the mobile.

Just take things slow and do what's necessary step by step without rushing. You will solve the problem in the end, but you just have to be patient. Rushing things and making mistakes is only going to cause frustration and aggravation, and in the long run could end up causing permanent damage. It just isn't worth it to hurry through these steps.

And you should always check to make sure that the jumper wire is in good condition and the connectors are clean.

Sony ericcson x2 xperia not charging

Fault description:

Sony Xperia x2 mobile sometime got charging trouble. In such case mobile shows charging error or not charging or charging no response error. This problem caused by overcharging or over voltage from charger. 

  

Fault solution:

For this problem solution we should first check basic things like charger or new battery before checking hardware area. After these primary testing apply following tricks:-

1.    First clean battery connector due to some carbon on connector we get such error.

2.    Check charging point for any dust or carbon and fully clean it with acetone or white petrol. If problem still not solve then open mobile pcb and check next solution. 

3.    First check all charging point continuity from charging point to all point specified in picture in red mark. If line missing from any point then apply jumper from that charging pin point to that appropriate point. 

For example in this case charging connector point 1 have no line continuity to that point so we apply jumper in blue mark shown in image below.

4.    If problem not solve then try to rehot both charging IC and change both IC specified in picture below in green mark.

After applying all above tricks we will solve our charging problem . Conclusion :

While checking all line continuity we should use a perfect meter and equipment that will do a good job of testing and result in better checking and problem solving.

The problem is solvable, but it first important to clean the battery connector because when you are dealing with such a situation, any debris that may have lodged in the way is going to cause a problem. If you're lucky, once you clean the charging point that alone may solve your problem, although it is likely that further measures will be necessary.

It cannot be stressed enough how delicate such a battery really is in the sense that a tiny particle can simple prevent it from charging and cause it to shut down completely. It might sound like just another bothersome job to you to have to clean the battery connector, but no matter what the problem really is, and no matter what else you do, if you neglect to do this one small detail, it can prevent your mobile from working.

Nokia N70 not charging and no response error

Introduction:

Nokia N70 has a common fault that is charging error. There are two types of charging problem that described below.

1. Not charging
2. Charging no response

1. Not charging :

Fault description: Some time due to bad charger or high voltage from supply mobile got this error that when we insert charger it shows “not charging” message on screen

Solution:

A. First check that we are using proper battery BL5C for nokia n70

If we use Wrong battery like BL5CA then we got this error.

B. There is a track above data cable connector that is used to flow current through it, so cut the track shown in red line properly with appropriate equipment.

C. If above solution not work then finally first rehot the charging crystal shown in red marked and then change the crystal. That charging crystal is

2. Charging no response :

Fault description:

In this fault mobile show charging ok but mobile does not store charge and it discharge immediately after few minutes.

Solution:

In this problem charging pin does not deliver appropriate current to charging resistance so Apply jumper from one charging connector point to charging resistance Shown in image below :-


Conclusion: If we properly follow all above tricks step by step then we can solve our charging based problem quickly.
